Senior Process Engineer (Operational Excellence & AI Workflows)

This role sits within cloud operations and is focused on driving measurable business outcomes through process improvement, stakeholder engagement, and AI-enabled workflow design. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders to identify operational inefficiencies, lead multiple improvement initiatives in parallel, and translate complex problems into scalable, data-driven solutions. While the title references engineering, this is a hands-on process and delivery role rather than a development position.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end process improvement initiatives focused on cost reduction, cycle time improvement, and operational efficiency
• Manage 6–7 concurrent projects across multiple stakeholder groups and business units
• Facilitate workshops to identify process gaps, waste, and improvement opportunities
• Design future-state processes and AI-enabled workflows in collaboration with engineering teams
• Translate organisational objectives into measurable outcomes, KPIs, and dashboards
• Support change initiatives, service transitions, and governance requirements in regulated environments
• Ensure process documentation, data hygiene, and audit readiness are maintained

About You

• Strong background in process improvement, operational excellence, or business transformation
• Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or Black Belt preferred) with demonstrable, hands-on application
• Experience delivering measurable outcomes such as cycle time reduction and cost savings
• Comfortable working across technical and non-technical stakeholders at varying levels of seniority
• Experience designing workflows and partnering with engineering teams to implement solutions
• Familiarity with cloud or enterprise IT environments and regulated operating models
• Ability to juggle multiple initiatives while maintaining structure, momentum, and accountability
• Australian citizenship and the ability to meet baseline clearance requirements are essential for this role.
